Post Graduate Department of Business Administration was set up in 2011 by Visionary Leader and Management Guru Prof B R Ananthan, the former Vice-Chancellor of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. Initially, Dr. A. B. Kalkundrikar, a pioneer educationist in the region was appointed as Coordinator of the Department. Now, the Department is having full-fledged and experienced faculty members who have vast industry, research, academic and administrative experience. The Department offers 2 years PG Programme with specialization in Finance, Marketing, HR and Entrepreneurship. The Department strives to see that every student goes through a wide spectrum of experiences which include the Field Based Project, interaction with entrepreneurs, executives and eminent personalities; role plays, learning through Management Games and Fest, Outbound Training, Case Study, Group Discussion, Internship Project, Skill Track, Current Affairs & Weekly Presentations, etc. The Department is committed to excellence in academics and research. The faculty members are putting all their endevaour towards meeting the expectations of various stakeholders viz students, industry and society at large. Along with the PG Department in the university campus, there are 6 affiliated Business Schools spread over three Districts of Belagavi, Bijapur and Bagalkot, catering the requirement of approximately 500 students.
